![]() In 2012 he started his international career, moving to Vancouver and later Montreal to work on studios like MPC, Method, ZOIC and DNEG. It was love at first sight and the following years he kept educating himself, studying photography, visual art and filmmaking. It was at that production house where he first came in contact with professional 3D software. Growing up in Brazil, filmmaking was not an easy career path but at the age of 17 he got his first job in media – at a local TV ads production house – whilst finishing high school and attending college at night. After experiencing such visually impactful movie magic he knew he just had to work with VFX and filmmaking. When Felipe was 9 years old ”Jurassic Park” was released in theaters. When he’s not designing and visualising creatures, machines and environments at Goodbye Kansas using tools such as Zbrush and Unreal Engine you will probably find him at home with his young children, creating them in Lego! His recent projects include Netflix’s supernatural drama ‘Locke and Key’ and Frank Miller's "Cursed", for which Raf designed and conceptualised the iconic "Pendragon Castle". Raf's many other outstanding projects include Tim Burton’s "Sweeney Todd", Danny Boyle’s "Sunshine", "Harry Potter", "The Chronicles of Narnia", "Prince of Persia", "Clash of the Titans", The Imitation Game", "Snow White and the Huntsman","Sherlock Holmes", "Macbeth": "Peaky Blinders" and George Clooney's "Monuments Men" and "Suburbicon". He was a key creative on the first season of HBO's "Game of Thrones" conceptualising and realising the look of the newly born dragons "Drogon, Rhaegal, Viserion", as well as the “Castle Winterfell”, “Castle Black” and “Red Keep”. Since graduating, he has gained many years of industry experience, refining his skill-sets in VFX Art Direction and Concept Art on numerous high profile TV and feature film projects. ![]() Raf has always had a passion for Art and Film, and went on to study these at "Central Saint Martin’s University Of The Arts London". In 2021 he moved back to Stockholm, joining Goodbye Kansas Studios as Managing Director. Markus has worked on numerous productions over the years, including films like the Academy Award nominated "Kung Fu Panda" (2008) and "The Croods” (2013). He was instrumental in growing Oriental Dreamworks with offices in Shanghai and Los Angeles and in 2016 - as Partner and Creative Director - he built the international production company HB Wink Animation for Huayi Brothers with offices in Shanghai and Los Angeles. Later he joined the Swedish animation studio Filmtecknarna and built a computer graphics team, before joining Framestore in London where he ran the 3D Commercials team.įor many tears, Markus worked at DreamWorks in Los Angeles, where he built a successful production process. He holds a Master of Science from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, where he also was engaged in building a Media Laboratory.
